QSHE Coordinator

We are actively seeking a skilled QSHE Co-Ordinator with a keen eye for detail to join our team to provide exceptional support and complement our expanding global business.
Key Role Objectives & Responsibilities:
* Coordinate activities outlined in site Health & Safety policy to ensure compliance.
* Support the training and development of all staff to ensure awareness and understanding of QHSE Standards
* Provide a single business focus for accident and incident reporting and assist with subsequent investigation process; provide trend analysis to Management Team to support and provide focus for driving positive behaviours and culture within the business.
* Maintain quality, safety and environmental systems; implement and audit to achieve compliance with legal, customer and certification requirements.
* Maintain and regularly review site COSHH and Risk Assessments
* Safety committee meeting attendance and action implementation
* Keep up to date with new legislation and industry best practice.
* Promote a positive Safety, Quality and Hygiene culture, seeking best practice at every opportunity.
* Drive problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
* Undertake visual/functional quality checks in Moulding & Assembly areas.
* Assist Quality Manager in customer and third-party audits.
* Assist Quality Manager in Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Systems review, Including documentation, SOP, and procedures.
* Complete site audits to ensure that all documentation related to Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental processes are completed correctly.
Any other reasonable task as requested.
Key Skills and Competencies:
* IOSH Essential
* ISO9001 Essential
* NEBOSH desirable.
* Yellow Belt 6 Six Sigma Desirable
* 5S Desirable
* BRC Desirable
* Trained ISO Internal Auditor desirable
* Robust and proven knowledge and understanding of Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental legislation & best practice.
* Excellent analytical skills
* Excellent IT skills (excel, minitab).
* Ability to work under pressure.
* SAP knowledge Desirable.
* Ability to work under pressure; think clearly and act decisively.
* Good listening, communication and problem-solving skills.
* Able to work confidentially and with integrity.
* Strong SPC knowledge
* Teamworking skills
Excellent communicator whether verbal, written and face to face forms.
Self-starter able to organise and priorities their own workloads.
Excellent time management.
Reasoning and analytical thinking.
Good at managing interpersonal relationships and influencing others.
A keen eye for detail and the ability to understand and challenge data.

Hours and Benefits:
£30,000 to £34,000 dependent on experience
Full time/permanent.
25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
