About the Role:
They are looking for a Structural Engineer to become a part of their expanding team. The successful Engineer will be in charge of all areas of design work on projects costing between £0.5 million and £20 million, from inception to technical approval and completion.
Working on projects involving residential and commercial real estate, retail establishments, auto showrooms, educational facilities, business offices, and industrial and manufacturing structures.
Responsibilities:
* Participation in client meetings, design, and site meetings as well as site reporting and inspections.
* Delivery of a comprehensive construction package and a thorough design.
* Conducting structural evaluations of buildings and other structures and offering guidance on potential problems. evaluating, reporting, and, if necessary, correcting structural flaws.
* Visiting construction sites to keep an eye on developments and offer guidance to contractors.
* Creation of thorough design calculations in accordance with applicable design guidance notes, Eurocodes, and British Standards.
* A high degree of IT proficiency and thorough understanding of Master Series.
Requirements:
* 3 years minimum of experience in structural design using the primary materials of concrete, steel, masonry, and wood.
* Engineering degree in structural or civil engineering, or comparable experience.
* Experience in both qualitative and quantitative building methods.
* High aptitude for technical design, technical analysis, drawing, and sketching.
* Excellent written and spoken English communication abilities.
