We are working with a leading player in the design and manufacture of state-of-the-art machinery. Their commitment to innovation has propelled them to the forefront of the industry, and we are now on the hunt for passionate individuals to contribute to their success.
Position: Junior Automation Engineer
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a dynamic team of engineers to support the Automation team and develop efficient manufacturing processes.
Support engineering design team with assembly, testing and problem solving the development of new products.
Assist in managing new product introduction processes.
Analyse current production processes, identifying limitations; improve lean manufacturing techniques to resolve them.
Use Inventor/AutoCAD Computer Aided Design system to produce 2D and 3D drawings of parts and assemblies using approved parts where possible.Requirements:
Strong academic background Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automation Engineering (2:1 or above)
Experience using design software, ideally Inventor.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative approach to engineering challenges.
Understanding of engineering terminology, manufacturing techniques, material choices and design considerations.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
UK Driving licence.
