Currently, they are in search of a skilled Quantity Surveyor, with a preference for expertise in brickwork and masonry, to join us in delivering unparalleled craftsmanship. Their services encompass a broad spectrum, including Brickwork, Restoration, Retrofit, Façade remediation, structural steel, full design packages, Waterproofing stone masonry, and architectural stone.

Responsibilities:
* Scrutinize project drawings and specifications to produce precise cost estimates for brickwork and masonry projects, considering materials, labor, and other relevant factors.
Cost Estimation:
* Scrutinize project drawings and specifications to produce precise cost estimates for brickwork and masonry projects, considering materials, labor, and other relevant factors.
Budget Management:
* Formulate and oversee project budgets, ensuring vigilant control of costs within approved parameters.
Tendering:
* Create and assess tender documents, collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers, and negotiate contracts to secure competitive pricing for brickwork and masonry projects.
Contract Administration:
* Supervise the financial aspects of contracts specific to brickwork and masonry, including payment applications, variations, and final accounts. Ensure strict adherence to contractual obligations.
Risk Management:
* Identify potential cost-related risks for brickwork and masonry projects and propose effective mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and within-budget project delivery.
Quantity Take-Offs:
* Conduct comprehensive quantity take-offs for brickwork and masonry materials and labor, providing precise data for project planning and procurement.
Collaboration:
* Forge close partnerships with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders for brickwork and masonry projects, offering valuable cost-related advice to contribute to overall project success.
Qualifications:

Education: Preferable but not necessary: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a preference for expertise in brickwork and masonry.

Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction costs, materials, and techniques related to brickwork and masonry.
*
Software Proficiency: Proficient in relevant software, including Excel, cost estimating tools, and project management software.
