Job summary
SEN Primary Teaching AssistantTeaching Personnel have Teaching Assistant roles in Plymouth, the opportunities have great potential for the candidates to develop and progress. The schools are looking to find enthusiastic teaching assistants to work alongside the class teacher and you will be expected to support the children whilst assisting in managing their behaviour within the classroom.
You will join a growing community of staff, with the childrens education at the heart of all they do
As a Teaching Assistant you will:
Have experience assisting teachers deliver lessons to a high standard.
Adhere to good behavioural standards and help implement them.
Quickly build good relationships with pupils.
Effectively help pupils academically and on an emotional level.
Have experience working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis
Key points:
Monday Friday 8:30am 3:30pm term time only
Any outdoor or health and safety qualifications are desirable but training opportunities in outdoor education can be undertaken.

To work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £38 plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
