Job summary
Protocol Education are recruiting for candidates who are looking to build their experience of working with children in a bright and outstanding school.The role is full time and starts ASAP pending clearing. This is an ongoing role in BA10.
We are looking for passionate individuals who are wanting to build a career in working with children in a nursery setting. You do not need any qualifications or experience but the drive and passion to make a difference to the lives of children.
The role of a teaching assistant can be a challenging one so patience, a friendly approach and a good sense of humour are required. A long with the skills to help the children learn and develop to the best of their abilities.
The Role;
To work alongside the class teacher in supporting children with their learning
To manage the behaviour of pupils whilst they undertake their work and ensuring a constructive and positive environment is always enforced
De-escalating situations within the classroom in the correct way certifying safeguarding procedures are always adhered
Carrying out small group work and working with children with additional needs
Reporting any safeguarding concerns using the schools referral procedures and safeguarding policies.
