Position Overview:
As a Building Surveyor specialising in Party Wall surveys, you will contribute your expertise to the diverse range of projects. Your role will encompass project management responsibilities, architectural input, and ensuring compliance with current building regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Party Wall Surveys: Conduct detailed Party Wall surveys, providing comprehensive reports and maintaining compliance with relevant legislation.
2. Project Management: Manage projects from inception to completion, overseeing timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
3. Architectural Expertise: Contribute architectural insights to projects, collaborating with design and planning teams to ensure successful outcomes.
4. Building Regulations: Demonstrate a solid understanding of up-to-date building regulations, integrating them into project planning and execution.
5. Communication: Engage effectively with internal teams, external consultants, and clients to facilitate smooth project progression.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying, Architecture, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
2. Proven experience in Party Wall surveys, project management, and architecture.
3. Strong knowledge of current building regulations and their practical application.
4. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. Membership in relevant professional bodies (RICS, RIBA) is advantageous.
6. Cad proficient is beneficial.

Essex (Chelmsford or Shoreditch office)
Salary:
£35,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience
