Job summary
Holt Executive are currently partnered with a global leader in Space and Satellite sustainability, a dynamic and rapidly growing technology innovator who are making hugely positive contributions to the growing problem of orbital space debris.They require an IT Service Desk Team Lead to manage a team of Engineers that deliver world class IT Support to colleagues across the globe, ensuring tickets are resolved in line with SLAs.
Responsibilities for the IT Service Desk Team Lead:
Manage the IT Services Helpdesk and team members in the day-to-day running of the IT department
Dealing with BAU IT requests and problems
Ensure the Helpdesk exceeds evolving SLA targets
Assist Head of IT with monthly KPI of SLA, Outages, and top 10 ticket tags
Continue to build out the Helpdesk self-service solutions
End user support regarding IT applications
Administration of cloud-based applications - Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS
Setting up and supporting IT equipment (Mobile phones, PC/ Laptops, routers/switches, Printers/ Scanners)
Maintaining backups
Skills and Experience required by the IT Service Desk Team Lead:
This position will require the post-holder to have, or be eligible to obtain, UK SC Clearance.
Two years of experience in a Team Leader role, with proven experience in line and performance management.
Excellent knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure.
Experience in supporting on-premise and cloud networks.
AWS administration.
Experience in the administration of platforms including Windows and Linux.
Defining and managing SLAs or XLAs for the business.
Terraform, Ansible and other cloud automation technologies
