Job summary
A multi-disciplinary consultancy who work on some of the largest infrastructure projects in the country are looking for a Senior Heritage Consultant to join their Archaeology and Heritage team. The role can be based in Bristol, Tewkesbury or Oxford.The Role:
Lead on the preparation and delivery of heritage services on a range of projects
Plan and coordinate projects to ensure that it is compliant with relevant national and regional guidance and legislation
Prepare and provide heritage advice and plans to clients
Mentor and provide support and development to junior members of the team
Support communication between clients and relevant internal teams or stakeholdersRequirements:
Full UK driving license
Relevant degree in History, Architecture or Archaeology
Sound knowledge about British architecture and historic landscapes
Excellent understanding of UK's legislative and national planning policy framework
3+ years' experience working on desk-based assessments- Heritage Statements, Impact Assessments etc.
Good knowledge of GIS systems and understanding of technical disciplinesThey are offering £30-40k depending on experience as well as 25 days annual leave, private healthcare and a generous pension scheme.
