SEN Teaching Assistant -LingfieldAcademics are currently working with a lovely SEN school in Lingfield who provide special education to students with learning difficulties from Year 7 to Year 14. What Does A Typical Day Look Like For A SEN Teaching Assistant?
Provide a safe and supportive environment for the children in your care
Help with any short/ long term planning as well as ensuring all equipment is safe for the children to use
Working 1:1 or in a small group of pupils with SEN
Building strong relationships with the children and staff to maintain an optimal learning environment
Being vigilant and taking the correct route promptly when reporting safeguarding concerns
What Is Required For The Role Of SEN Teaching Assistant?
A genuine desire to work with children who have special educational needs
You must be patient, empathetic and resilient
Provide details for us to complete reference checks prior to employment
You will require to pass a DBS check with no reprimands (we can assist you with this)
You will have GCSE grades of A*-C in Math's and English ( or equivalent )
