We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our busy accounts team with previous basic level accounts experience.
The role will work closely with the team providing additional support across all ledgers and duties will include: -
* Registering invoices received from suppliers, ensuring they are appropriately approved before processing onto the purchase ledger
* Chasing trade customers on overdue debts and placing accounts on stop when required
* Allocation of receipts from customers across all the ledgers
* Processing of manual payment requests to customers and suppliers on our online banking system and posting onto the ledgers
* Providing coverage for cashier when required
* Any other ad hoc duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the account's office
The candidate should have a good attention to detail, accurate data input ability, excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
