Role Description:
As an Education Professional, leverage your professional knowledge to effectively support students in achieving their learning goals. Collaborate with the class teacher and teaching assistants to provide tailored support, contributing to overall class achievement. Key responsibilities include:
Support and supervise individuals, small groups, or the entire class during activities.
Maintain a purposeful environment aligned with lesson plans to foster inclusion and growth.
Assist the teacher in planning and implementing each lesson, including resource preparation.
Provide regular feedback on student achievement and progress to teachers.
Model and promote positive behaviour, utilising appropriate language and communication skills.
Follow, implement, and adhere to the school's behaviour policy, contributing to managing challenging behaviour.
Establish constructive relationships with colleagues, external professionals, and parents.
This full-time role operates from 8:15 am to 3:40 pm, Monday to Friday.
