Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation seeks to hire an experienced Inpatient Therapy Tech (CNA) for our Inpatient Rehab Department in Takoma Park, who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As a Therapy Technician (CNA) in you will:
Transport patients to/from therapy sessions
Assist staff with patient treatment plans under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist.
Prepare and clean-up therapy gym, space, and equipment before and after therapy sessions.
Build and disseminate wheelchair, cushion, and accessories; perform wheelchair repair.
Make modifications to the therapy schedule
Qualifications include:
High School Graduate or equivalent
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Maryland - required
Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Previous experience in a therapy/rehab setting or healthcare setting preferred
Enthusiastic, driven individual; works well in team environment; self-motivated
* Students who are looking to advance to PT or PA school a plus

Work Schedule:
Full-time 40 hours a week; may include 1 weekend day as part of regular shift.
