Technical Sales Engineer - PumpsSalary £50-55k + car allowance
Home based and covering the UK
An experienced Sales Engineer or Sales Manager with a strong technical understanding of pumps used within the water industry is required for new role with a busy manufacturer.
You will be responsible for achieving profitable sales through active customer engagement, to develop technical sales enquiries, to promote products and services and maintain positive customer relations.
Key responsibilities will include:
To develop technical enquires, select pumps and prepare technical quotations.
To build and maintain strong customer relationships.
To visit customers to promote products, enhance the company's reputation and develop business opportunities.
Negotiate contracts to maximise value, minimise risk and achieve the optimum commercial position.
Track capital projects and accurately forecast sales opportunities.
Compiling reports on forecasts and communicate to all relevant stakeholders.
Candidates will have a proven sales background within a capital equipment environment. You will have a strong technical appreciation of centrifugal pumps, ideally gained within the water industry.
This role will be home based with travel to clients around the UK. There will also be opportunity for some business development with overseas clients
