Job summary
We have a great opportunity for an experienced Account Manager with a background in building reactive maintenance to join a maintenance provider based in Wigan.Reporting into the Head of Client Delivery, you will be part of the operations team and take the ultimate responsibility for performance and delivery to key clients and stakeholders, alongside overseeing 8 contract managers. Whilst you will be based at the Head Office in Wigan, this role will require travel to key sites in the Midlands, Buckinghamshire, Bristol and Glasgow. Previous experience of managing or leading managers is essential to this role.

On site parking Day to day duties of the Account Manager
Ultimate responsibility for performance and delivery to key clients and stakeholders, while overseeing the work of subordinate managers.
Ensure a good full understanding of the contract, ensuring profitability and monthly forecasted turnover targets are met.
Achieve or exceed all clients' KPIs, ensuring team members understand them, and put plans in place to address any deficiencies.
Ensure client spend limits are not exceeded and your team maintain accurate and timely records in Epix and other systems.
Develop and maintain an efficient and effective workforce, which includes recruiting and interviewing labour and sub-contractors, and managing personnel.
Work with the team to optimise scheduling of engineers and ensure that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsible for ensuring health and safety compliance on all work locations, regularly reinforcing a 100% safe mentality to all team members.
Attend & lead client meetings, ensuring all necessary information, KPI's, and reports are available, and deliver presentations to the client when required.
Key Experience required:
All backgrounds within a proven leadership capacity at Senior Regional or National Account FM Leadership will be considered, however there is a strong preference towards reactive maintenance related experience.
Building Reactive maintenance experience required, ideally trade background.
Experience of Key account management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong knowledge of Excel and the rest of the MS Office package
Previous experience of managing or leading Managers
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills ability to lead client meetings.
Have a strong focus on customer service and customer satisfaction.
Organisation, diary management and forward planning is essential.
Ability to work within a pressurised environment, including multi-tasking, problem solving and working independently.
