Embark on a fulfilling journey with our state-of-the-art special needs school in Burgess Hill!Teaching Personnel are working with a brand new SEN provision dedicated to educating autistic pupils, we're seeking compassionate and enthusiastic support staff for full-time and flexible supply cover positions.
As an SEN support Assistant, you will be working 1:1 and with small groups of pupils, assisting them in a range of subjects including English, Science, Drama and performing arts, music and PE. You will play a pivotal role in boosting pupils self-esteem and confidence as you help them develop the knowledge to succeed in education.
The role is perfectly suited to energetic, vibrant and outgoing individuals who like to be on the move and engage in a range of exciting activities, whether that be supporting primary pupils with soft/messy play or heading out to the school fields to teach football and athletics.
If you have experience in care, support worker, child minding, youth clubs or roles in education, wed love to here from you! There are many transferrable skills which would allow you to succeed within this role.
