Our client, a leading organisation, is on a transformative mission and is seeking a Finance Analyst to be a driving force for meaningful change. As a Finance Analyst in their dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging financial insights to shape critical decisions.
In return, they offer a competitive salary, of £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE), 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, a generous contributory pension scheme, options to buy shares in their parent company, Health Cash Plan, and hybrid flexible working conditions.
So what will you be involved in?:
* Analyse current and past financial data and performance.
* Evaluate capital and revenue investment projects for financial returns.
* Develop predictive financial models for organisational decision-making.
* Identify process gaps to improve profit margins.
* Establish benchmarks for financial processes.
* Study industry-specific research to predict trends.
* Create written reports for strategic decision-making.
* Develop forecasting tools to automate financial data analysis.
Our client would love to see the following traits/experiences:
* A Bachelors degree in finance, economics, or statistics.
* Proven experience as a financial analyst.
* Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and ideally Power BI, SQL experience.
* Excellent reporting, presenting, and communication skills.
* Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
* Ability to work with large datasets.
* Analytical and financial modelling skills.
Working Hours:
The working week is 35¼ hours, from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (Monday to Thursday) and 9:00 am 4:00 pm on Fridays.
