Job summary
Questech are recruiting on behalf of our client in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This client are a a fast paced Production facility, experiencing substantial growth.The Person:
* Formal engineering qualification to at least City & Guilds level 3,
* NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a Electrical or multi-skilled discipline with corresponding practical experience
* Continuous improvement experience
* RCA
* Act as the team champions of good engineering standards
* Must be a team player with a strong sense of personal responsibility/ownership.
* Flexibility around working hours.
* BOAS Trained or similar.
* Refrigeration experience
* Ammonia awareness
* Power and control systems
The Role:
* In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the site services equipment and completing minor electrical projects/repairs across site under the leadership of the Site Services Maintenance Manager.
* There will also be a requirement to support the shift-based engineers within production if needed.
* Effective planned maintenance inspections, reviewing frequencies and parts used.
* Recommend improvements to maintenance schedules; carry out safety checks on equipment in line with legislation and best practice.
* Overhaul and repair of plant; continually monitor plant conditions and report defects.
* Complete stores requisitions for parts and contract services
* Perform in depth RCA for breakdowns and process failure.
* Help generate and maintain compliance to SOPs/ Risk Assessments. Carry out work in a standardised way.
* Report plant performance using appropriate company systems and ensure action on/communication of non-conformance issues.
* Ensure operational key information is effectively communicated to colleagues and other shift teams; complete any relevant documentation on time and in full.
* Support production/projects as required.
This role is working a Days Only - Panama shift pattern
The pay rate is between £39,000pa - £42,000pa dependant on skills and experience.
