We are looking for a finance lead responsible for supporting the Assets and Housing directorates within West Kent.
West Kent is going through a period of transformation. We are in the process of implementing Cloud Financials and Collaborative Planning within the finance function for the next financial year, and we have just launched Civica CX, our new Housing Management System.
The successful post holder will be joining the organisation at an exciting time. They will lead on the financial modelling to support the Assets team in our decision making for Net Zero Carbon Investment and Strategic Asset Disposals and will provide a vital support function to the Housing and Communities teams in modelling the impact of the current cost of living crisis.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Property and Asset Management teams with the production of the 30 year Asset Management Plan
Supporting the Assets, Housing and Communities Directorates with the production of forecasts and budgets
The provision of financial modelling and financial analysis for the Assets, Housing and Communities Directorates
The production of NPV performance for the housing assets of the organisation
The financial analysis of our internal and external maintenance service providers financial performance
To be considered, you will need to meet these criteria:
Be a fully qualified accountant and established senior finance leader with experience of business partnering in the public sector, ideally Social Housing organisations, demonstrating familiarity with regulatory requirements
Be a strong and respected team member who can influence, constructively challenge and support.

Location Details
The role will be based in our Sevenoaks Office however we offer a flexible approach to hybrid working with full-time employees working in the office around two days a week.
