Job summary
I'm pleased to be working with a global manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a Senior Finance Analyst to help their business grow even further! They have a great presence in their location in Sheffield and don't tend to recruit very often so it's a great opportunity to get your foot in the door to see what they're all about!Responsibility of the role:
As the Senior Finance Analyst, you will be collection information and data from the business to help make decisions, comment and advise to a board of colleagues as to how you have come to those judgements and why they will help the business prosper. You will be working closely with the Area Controller who you'd initially report into with the KPI's. Within this role, you will be responsible for the site budget to allow correct allocations of where the money should be spent in the business to enable them to keep on generating income for the business.
-Preparing weekly and mid-month flash forecast and monthly balance year forecast
-Analyse monthly P&L summaries for anomalies, investigate and report findings to management
-Ensure the sites books are closed timely and accurately
-Provides analytical support for continuous improvement cost savings projects
-Prepare weekly expense tracker, investigate AP issues and work with site staff on PO corrections
