About The Job
The Pastoral Manager will be responsible for the leadership of Behaviour Management; including Mental Health Lead, Sexual Risk Lead, Physical Harm Lead and SEMH Lead across the School in liaison with the Lead DSL's : The Head of Safeguarding in Education and the Head of Residential; and will be a DDSL within the school framework.
Day-to-day, your role will include
To liaise directly with the Assistant Head (School) responsible for behaviour to coordinate a 3 year strategic plan which is regularly monitored and reviewed.
To coordinate pastoral reports which include empirical evidence and data to support the work of St Piers; monitoring outcomes, progress aand improvements across the service over a 3 year timeframe.
To take responsibility for the Behaviour and Attendance Policies, adjusting and maintaining the policies, procedures and protocols, Local agreements and the National Agenda.
To take responsibility for daily checks on all behaviour reporting procedures, triaging priority cases and assigning tasks to complete referrals and then close records.
Ensure all records are appropriately completed in line with organisational policy and procedures.
Staff development, support and management leading to an effective, empowered efficient staff teams.
Development and management of effective systems, processes and policies that support efficiency, effectiveness and excellence.About You
Experience of safeguarding and behaviour support work in a school setting is essential.
