Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear from experienced Maintenance Engineers with an industrial processing setting background, interested in a Monday to Friday days only role based in Bridgwater.
We are looking to hear from Engineers who have either a mechanical, electrical or multiskilled engineering maintenance background who would be interested in the opportunity.
This position will be based at a renewable energy plant in Bridgwater and as such we are looking for experience from engineers who have worked in a factory setting or industrial processing facility.
Role Profile
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be integral to maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing the performance of the AD plant. Your role will encompass the upkeep of machinery, systems, and processes critical to the efficient and continuous operation of the plant, contributing significantly to our renewable energy production.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on AD plant machinery, including pumps, Conveyors, Valves, digesters, and associated control systems.
Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues promptly to minimize downtime and optimize operational efficiency.
Maintenance Planning: Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to the production process.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety. Implement upgrades or modifications as necessary, working toward optimizing plant performance.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment history, work orders, and spare parts inventory. Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations.Engineer Profile
NVQ 3/ONC in a mechanical or Electrical, or a relevant engineering discipline.
5 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing, energy production, or similar industrial setting.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
Strong understanding of AD plant operations and associated equipment is advantageous.Benefits
