Job summary

Design Coordinator - £45,000 to £55,000 salary depending on experience

We are working alongside a successful building main contractor who have a modular building manufacturing plant in Northampton and are actively looking for a talented Design Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have worked on architectural layouts and produced a high level of model definition. Ideally you will have a minimum of 5 years experience, with a thorough understanding of using Revit

Design Coordinator's responsibilities will include:

Running concurrent projects.

Maintaining project library of families and develop new families contents

Create schedules for quantities and produce construction sequences

Carry out model auditing to make sure all models compile with requirements

Ensure project is up to date with all project changes before issuing the BIM models

Work with project teams to develop and implement project-specific BIM workflows, BIM Execution Plans and data management

The Design Coordinator will work with Engineers and liaise with internal and external project teams to produce design information modelling and drawing production on projects

Take responsibility for the production and delivery of information for specific areas of the design and project development

Help in the organisation and coordination of the design team as needed to deliver projects successfully

The Design Coordinator will prepare and develop architectural drawings, BIM models, images and other documents relating to the design

The Design Coordinator will have a good working experience of:

Revit modelling skills driven by a good understanding of architectural drawings

Good understanding and experience of working with templates, filters, design options, phases and model quantities schedule

Experience of working with internal and external information from a coordination point of view and demonstration of working with live Architectural linked models

Good knowledge of 2D/3D AutoCAD
