The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a HR professional with solid generalist experience to join the dynamic customer service department in Edinburgh. The focus of this position is on innovative sourcing strategies, employee relationship management, fostering a positive workplace culture, and implementing HR action plans to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the regional HR Director and BU HRBP to implement people plans aligned with strategic business initiatives.
Provide ongoing support to the leadership team on people-related matters, including policies, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
Ensure a seamless and positive employee experience from recruitment to offboarding, with a focus on tailored policies for customer service.
Assess staffing needs, manage open positions via ATS, and conduct engaging onboarding sessions.
Implement communication channels to address employee concerns, disseminate critical information, and maintain a positive corporate culture.
Provide guidance and coach people managers in employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, and leadership skills.
Collaborate with leadership to create and implement agile training and talent development initiatives aligned with customer service demands.
Develop and oversee initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion in customer service.
Stay informed about industry trends and employment legislation to ensure compliance.
Qualifications and Experience Essential
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in a customer service or similar fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and implement agile HR solutions.
Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment legislation, and industry trends.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills tailored for an evolving and collaborative environment.
Ability to pivot and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
Recruitment background or experience is desirable.
