Your future duties and responsibilities
In this role you will:

Contribute to the test design and execution of various test phases.
Be part of the overall contribution of the test team; reporting and attending defect triage meetings, quality gate reviews and producing Test Completion Reports.
Provide support to junior members of the team offering guidance where required.
Ensure a suitable succession plan is in place when moving to any new role/project.
In terms of progression wed expect you to be looking to progress to a Lead Test role and we will support your career development towards this.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Test automation tools (BDD tools sets) and experience in using them within a Java development/test environment
Springboot (Java 11) micro services testing
Experience of testing RESTful APIs
Have testing experience within cloud environments
Integration testing
Performance testing
Usage of tools such as Git, JMeter, Postman, Newman, RestAssured, ReadyAPI, Postman etc
Ability to review Java code and Spring configuration to have a certain level of understanding of the services
Experience in developing and using stubs as well as actual endpoints for integration testing the role would be testing across component, sit, e2e, staging and production
Understanding of queueing technologies (e.g. RabbitMQ and ability to review logs to understand issues), and MongoDB experience to review data
You should be highly passionate about QA/Automation Testing.
Youll bring clear demonstrable experience, knowledge and understanding of Automation Testing within modern software/applications development (especially with respect to Agile Development methodology and Automation testing).
