Job summary
Have you tried turning it off and on again?" Were looking for a 1st Line Support Technician to provide technical support and resolve hardware and software issues."Is it definitely plugged in?" Youll diagnose network problems and ensure seamless connectivity for users.
"Have you tried forcing an unexpected reboot?" You will perform system updates, configurations, and installations to keep systems running smoothly.
"Have you tried walking through the problem slowly, step by step?" You will assist users with patience and clarity in troubleshooting their IT concerns.
"People, what a bunch of b****ds!" You will need to communicate effectively with users of various technical backgrounds and maintain a positive attitude.

What Were Looking For:
* Experience in IT support or a related field
* Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows servers and desktops
* Ideally some Microsoft 365 administration or AD / Group Policies
* Any Microsoft courses and accreditations and/or CompTIA certifications would be advantageous
* A sense of humour and willingness to embrace the quirky world of IT, as seen in "The IT Crowd.
Salary & Benefits:
* Salary up to £23,000 per annum depending on experience

Location: Frome, Somerset with remote working of 2 days per week available after completion of probationary period.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am 5:30pm. (There is an option to do on call over weekends/evenings if you wish and are able to but this is not compulsory)
