Job summary
Credit Controller (Part Time 30 hours)I am looking for an experienced, customer focused, passionate Credit Facilitator / Controller.
You will be a key member of a small finance department which aims to provide a first class service to all internal and external stakeholders of the business. A measure of success in this role will be the strong working relationships that you build with our Global agents and customers, collaborating with them to maximise sales while minimising bad debt risk, to ensure that our products are delivered on time meeting customer requirements.
There are a range of responsibilities for this role which include:
Work to a company agreed debt control policy.
Accurately allocate and reconcile sales ledger.
Accurately recording and reconciling the companies international (GBP, USD, EUR) bank accounts within ERP system
Creating new customer accounts on the system, determining payment terms and credit limits, and communicating effectively with the internal sales team.
Effective communication with customers via email and telephone to ensure all queries are resolved in a timely manner.
Maintain adequate records for audit purposes.
Ensure Agent commission is accounted for correctly in companies accounts
Good understanding of letter of credits
Ensure necessary paperwork is in place for foreign tax purposes and Know Your Customer requirements (training given)
The role is based close to Halifax town centre and offers flexible working options.
£19,700 per annum
