Are you a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with experience designing bespoke machinery looking to take a lead role on novel projects?
This is an exciting opportunity where you will play a key role within the business where you will directly impact the outcome of new products. You will be the go to Engineer within the technical department assisting with the R&D department.
The company have been established for a century and have an excellent reputation within the industry. This will be a diverse role specifically designing special purpose machinery for your clients.
The role would suit a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with experience of designing special purpose background looking to have a big impact in an organisation.
The Role:
*Designing special purpose machinery
*Ensuring design standards are being maintained
*Carrying out design calculations
*Seeing projects from start to finish
The Candidate:
*Mechanical background
*3D CAD skills - all software considered including SolidWorks, AutoCAD and more
*Design experience of true moving machinery is highly desirable (drives, motors, drive belts and pulleys, rotating equipment, pneumatics, actuators, etc.)
