The role as a Hatchery Operative you will ensure the welfare of day-old chicks while maintaining the high standards of quality, hygiene, animal welfare, health and safety. We would need you to be able to start immediately and looking for long term work · Previous experience not required.
**Full Training Provided**
Candidates must be able to attend the site in person for interview.
Shift and Pay Information for Production Operative
* Monday to Friday
* Overtime
* Weekend availability
* 9hr Shifts available - 03:00 -12:00
* £10.92 per hour to £14.10per hour
* The Hatchery Hours are 3am-6pm there are varied shift patterns.
What you'll be doing as a Production Operative based in Butterwick:
* You will ensure the welfare of day-old chicks and maintain the high standards of quality, hygiene, animal welfare, health and safety that are required.
* Gain a full understanding of poultry at Annyalla Chicks
* Undertake various tasks within the hatchery; chick take off, transfer, egg loading and unloading.
* General cleaning and tidiness of all areas inside and outside the hatchery for ensuring a high level of bio security.
* Adhere to all codes of practice and bird welfare.
* Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.
* Undertake other duties within the hatchery operation as required.
Skills & Experience to apply for a Production Operative:
* Flexible and hard working.
* Enthusiastic and a positive attitude to teamwork.
* Ability to work shifts (start times can vary)
* Previous production/factory experience is desirable.
* All training is provided.
* Someone with good hand dexterity to handle day old chicks.
