Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Sewing Machinist on a permanent basis. This will be for an industrial company that specialize in providing seat covers and curtains.This is a full time permanent role based in Wythenshawe, Manchester M22.
This is a 40 hour a week role.
* Mon 7am-4pm
* Tues-Thurs 7am-4.30pm
* Fri 7am - 11.30am
Responsibilities:
To be responsible to the Production Supervisor for the completion of all sewing duties.
* Bring a very high level of sewing ability ideally with industrial material and products like curtains, seat covers etc.
* To be able to carry out accurate measurements.
* To make sure that a consistently high quality of sewing and general workmanship is maintained at all times.
* To complete all necessary paperwork when required accurately.
Key competencies required for the role:
* To have at least 3 years experience as a Machinist.
* Ideally have experience of sewing materials for curtains, seat covers and the like.
* Must be approachable and work well within a team environment.
* A conscientious person who takes pride in their work
* You must be flexible.
