Job summary
Marketing Manager | Lancaster | Full Time | £38,881 - £44,483Community Foster Care is a Therapeutic Independent Foster Agency. We are also a charity with an important history based on principles of social justice and the power of communities.
The children and young people we work with have experienced relational and developmental trauma. These experiences lead to the presentation of multiple complexities, which require the love, security and sense of belonging provided by a nurturing family.
These families need to be resilient, highly skilled and well supported. We believe it takes a community to raise a child. As a therapeutic agency, we are exploring key approaches to refine how to achieve our vision.
Are you the right person for us?
The following criteria are essential for this role
Degree in CIM, IDM or equivalent recognised Qualification
Excellent working knowledge of social media advertising including Facebook and Twitter
Experience in generating and analysing reports
Understanding of the latest content trends and technologies
Experience in budget management/monitoring
Experience in traditional marketing strategies and the production of editorial and the design of marketing materials
Working knowledge of SEO and PPC
Working knowledge of CRM systems
The Role
You will need to be a flexible and versatile marketer who will be wholly responsible for Community Foster Cares Marketing Strategy, leading the way in growing the numbers of Foster Families in our community. You need to take a strategic lead in the promotion of Community Foster Cares brand and fully embed yourself into Community Foster Care's values and approach. You will develop and lead diverse marketing and communication activities, (traditional and digital marketing and social media,) with responsibility for the entire marketing proposition including designing and implementing marketing strategies. Ultimately you will be responsible to tell Community Foster Cares stories and supporting others to do this, so that likeminded individuals are drawn to us and want to work together with us.
Critical to success in the role and to Community Foster Care will be the ongoing successful recruitment and retention of foster carers, which your Marketing Strategy will support with the potential to grow skilled and resilient therapeutic parents, who can provide, safe loving and nurturing home to the children in our care. You will need to be tenacious, ambitious and creative in these endeavours.
