Chief Operating Officer Overview:
Forsyth Barnes has partnered with a private equity backed retailer that is looking to scale and grow their UK operations. They are looking to appoint a Chief Operating Officer to sit over the logistics, warehouse, supply chain and procurement side of the business. This is their back end of the business opposed to their store operations. This business is growing at a rapid rate and has ambitious plans. They are looking for somebody to take on a transformation of the business operations.
Chief Operating Officer Responsibilities:
* Re-defining and providing stability to the businesss property estate.
* Optimising a more robust supply chain life cycle
* Continuous improvement of their operations
* Revising contracts with suppliers and making cost effective agreements
* Setting up robust health and safety for the businesss operations.
Chief Operating Officer Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a COO position
* Somebody who can collaborate effectively with key stakeholders across the business.
* Somebody with experience of overseeing operations, procurement, supply chain functions of a business.
* Somebody with experience of transformation of a business operation.
* Somebody with experience of scaling a businesss operations.
* Somebody with consultancy background is advantageous.
