Job summary
Area Sales ManagerWe are working with a well-known, European leading organisation on the lookout for an Area Sales Manager. This is an incredible opportunity to join a great company within a fantastic team.
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining an active portfolio of Retail and National merchant showroom branches and ensuring that displays are always well maintained, up to date, and positioned prominently in prime showroom space.
Furthermore the role is responsible for roll-outs of high-quality displays across a showroom network of high to mid-end Independent Retailers and National Merchant Showrooms to increase brand presence and grow sales opportunities by targeting end users, installers and small residential projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct approx. 60-70 valuable contacts/meeting per month (a mix of face to face or remotely via Teams)
* Manage and coordinate display roll-out
* Negotiate stock and pricing for small stock deals
* Carry out in-branch training programmes for all relevant Showroom staff and affiliated installers in the breadth and application of the company offering
* Support exhibitions and end user related activities where appropriate
* Delivery of exceptional customer service placing the customer at the heart of all initiatives
* Drive high customer engagement through a tailored sales approach
* Ensure any company messages are cascaded promptly and that internal support functions are fully briefed of customer requirements
* Ensure any customer targeted training is in line with company objectives and delivered in a way that drives engagement and sales
* Provide regular feedback to the Sales Director - Showrooms to help improve the company service proposition for this channel
* Track account performance, agree measures and set targets to drive positive sales evolution
* Ensure consistent use of CRM with all activity (Customer Contact Details / Call Reports / Project Data etc.) reported on the system in a timely manner
* Timely action of all company admin related tasks
* Forecasting of extra-ordinary product requirements to ensure high standard of service
* Control of individual territory cost budget in relation to point of sale, samples and customer entertaining
* Produce monthly reports to be sent to Sales Director - Showrooms
