We are currently recruiting learning support assistants in the Barry area. We are looking for educators who are passionate, enthusiastic, creative, and flexible. The successful educator will be nurturing and caring and be supportive to students social and emotional difficulties.
As an LSA you will be asked to assist in the daily running of the classroom and work with pupils on an individual basis to facilitate learning. During the day you may be asked to support pupils who present challenging behaviour, a proactive and caring approach will be vital.
The successful educator will:

Able to demonstrate and promote excellence, equality and high expectations of achievement and behaviour

Encourage the pupil to interact with all pupils across the classroom to support their social skills
Have the ability to deescalate situations should they arise (support will be provided by other Teaching Assistants within the classroom)
Essential Requirements:
Child only DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service
Registration with the Education Workforce Council
Able to provide 2 professional based references
