Primary Teacher - Maidstone

Full-time - MPS/UPS - January 2024 start

Tradewind Recruitment are sourcing for inspirational Primary Teachers to support schools in the Maidstone area, for long-term contract positions, as well as ad-hoc daily supply, from January 2024. These are full-time positions but could have scope for a candidate to go permanent depending on circumstance. Applications from experienced teachers and ECTs are welcome!

The Role

Planning and delivering the Primary Curriculum in either KS1 or KS2
Responsibility for ensuring your cohorts are supported, and challenged appropriately with the work set.
Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students
Taking part in parents' evenings and staff meetings and training sessions if required
If Daily Supply, marking the work that has been completed by the students for the returning teacher.

Requirements

Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
Experience teaching the UK Primary Curriculum to either KS1 and/or KS2
Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
Have right to work in the UK
