Vacancy - Accounts Assistant - WarringtonOur client, one of the best motor trade employers in the North West is looking to recruit an experienced Motor Trade Accounts Assistant
Job role:
Providing support to the retail centre accountant in all areas as directed.
Ensuring the maintenance and accuracy of accounting records and systems.
Producing detailed, accurate and timely balance sheet and ledger reconciliations.
Responsibility:
Credit control including both vehicles and trade.
Liaise with departmental managers in respect of debtors.
Overseeing and maintaining the sales ledger on a daily basis.
Processing of daily banking transactions (both direct and cash/pdq receipts).
Assist on the preparation and processing of vehicle purchases.
The successful candidate will also cover for other accounting functions (purchase ledger, petty cash, sbi processing) during periods of absence by other staff members.
About You:
To be successful in the role you will have:
Previous experience of the credit control function and general accounts duties within a high-volume Accounts department.
Experience in a motor trade environment with a Kerridge DMS background would be advantageous, although not essential.
PC literate, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Team Player.
Excellent administrative/organisational abilities, and able to work on own initiative.
Working hours/days
Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
37.5 hours/week
Holidays:
23 days per annum plus statutory days.
Salary:
Totally depends on experience and would be more.
£24k ++++
