Russell Taylor Group is working with a Global Testing Company who are looking to appoint a Junior EV Test Technician who will be operating multiple test rigs, supporting the installation and calibration of systems, and supporting complex electronic systems whilst maintaining high workplace standards.
The Role:
Operating multiple complex test rigs outside of typical hours using specialised test methods
Supporting the installation and calibration of data acquisitions systems.
Ensure all instrumentation used is calibrated to the companies' rigorous procedures.
Assist in the debugging and development of complicated electronic systems with high-speed serial interfaces.
Support rig or Cell operation and installation with both mechanical and electrical assembly & disassembly tasks with a keen awareness of the company's electrical system standards.
Liaise with suppliers, customers, and colleagues in a professional manor to develop a strong & productive relationship.
The Person:
Masters' qualification in a mechanical or electrical engineering discipline with industry experience or experience from a mechanical background
Excellent communication skills with internal teams and external clients.
Highly motivated with a strong ambition to succeed.
Ability to work autonomously.
Good at maintaining consistent paperwork and documentation.
Adaptable with the ability to learn quickly.
Machining knowledge with the ability to interpret CAD drawings for rigging purposes.
Confidence with I.T Systems
