Head of Financial Management - SurreyEden Brown Synergy are working in partnership with a leading NHS Trust based in Surrey. We are looking to appoint an experienced Head of Financial Management to join a busy finance department. Reporting directly to the Finance Director you will provide leadership for the performance management of all financial activities and provide finial information that is robust and accurate and be able to explain, discuss, recommend, persuade/influence and priorities required actions to budget managers. This is a great opportunity to work alongside talented individuals and take ownership in delivering financial strategies.
Your new role as Head of Financial Management:
As the Head of Financial Management you will manage the provision of financial management information, analysis and advice to the leadership and management team, setting expectations and timetables to ensure all accounting tasks are input/investigated and produced in accordance with the accounting timetable. You will ensure the provision of an executive reporting pack to Boards and performance review meetings ensuring key financial issues, run rate changes, forecast changes, risks and opportunities are high-lighted and clearly articulated.
The Experience & Qualifications Required:
Professional qualification in accountancy (CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA), expert knowledge of the NHS Finance regime, strong IT skills, experience of financial planning, reporting and variance analysis. Ability to manage complex issues and lead change, substantial experience of leading, managing and developing staff.
