Job summary
Warehouse SupervisorWorking with a busy and rapidly expanding manufacturer of non-ferrous metals my client are looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor on a full-time permanent basis working Monday-Friday 40 hours per week 8am-5pm.
This is a fast-paced Warehouse position where you will be responsible for organising deliveries, receiving goods in/out of warehouse, loading and unloading vehicles as well as managing a small team.
This is a hands on Warehouse Supervisor role where previous experience in a fast-paced environment is essential.
The company is based on the outskirts of Reading so own transport is essential
Salary & Benefits:
* Up to £35,000 per annum
* Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
* 20 days holiday + Bank holidays
* Free parking
Duties:
* Organising deliveries, storage and despatches of goods in warehouse
* Schedule and oversee warehouse team and manage the flow and quality of work to maximise efficiencies
* Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries on a daily basis, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics
* Liaising with Sales and Office departments ensuring targets are achieved daily
Ideal Candidate
* Experience with managing/supervising teams in a logistics/manufacturing environment
* Experienced in stock movement, goods in and out/warehouse.
* General office and administration skills
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Ability to multitask and liaise with different departments
