Salary: £20-£25 per hour
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young individuals with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEMH Tutor to join our team in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire.
Responsibilities:
Provide tailored, one-on-one academic support to students with SEMH needs.
Develop and implement individualized learning plans to address specific challenges and promote academic progress.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social and emotional well-being of each student.
Collaborate with other professionals, including teachers, parents, and support staff, to create a cohesive support system for students.
Monitor and assess the progress of students, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and interventions.
Requirements:
Experience working with students with SEMH needs.
Strong understanding of SEMH challenges and effective strategies for support.
Ability to build positive relationships with students and create a safe learning environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Patience, empathy, and resilience.
Qualifications:
Minimum of a relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential.
Working Hours:
Flexible hours, with the possibility of both part-time and full-time positions.
Sessions may take place during or after school hours, as well as weekends, based on the needs of the students.
Salary:
£20-£25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
