Job summary
Service EngineerPrestigious Woodworking Machinery Supplier based in Coalville are looking for a Service Engineer to join them on a temp to perm basis.
The position is to support clients with technical information, by telephone, email and in person, who need product advice, have product queries, or need spare parts shipping out to them.
You will also be required to complete small repairs of the woodworking machinery. Completion of quality checks of new machinery, organise spare parts to go out to suppliers and complete invoices.
Essential Skills Required:
Some previous experience of mechanical or electrical engineering. For example: experience of working with white goods or automotive, this can be professional, or home based.
Good telephone skills.
Good customer service skills.
Basic keyboard and IT skills.
UK Driving licence.
Soldering and Welding skills would be of advantage but not necessary.
Also, FLT licence or experience would be of advantage.
Hours of work:
Standard working week 8.45am to 5.00pm (with 30-minute lunch break) = 38.75 hours per week.
Vacancy is full time, but we will consider part time with a minimum of 3 days per week.
Pay:
Depending on skills £12 - £15 per hour
