Job summary
Are you an experienced & qualified Electrician with practical site experience and / or relevant qualifications?Our superb client based near Sheffield is seeking an experienced Electrician to join them on a full time permanent basis 8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday.
As Electrician, you will be responsible for 1st & 2nd fix electrical work, site set up, clear down and clean up, purchasing and collection of required construction materials, video recording of works with audio commentary before work commencement and on completion, daily assessment of allocated work, completing quality checks, obtaining customer satisfaction sign off, keeping company vehicle clean and roadworthy, site health and safety, and other demolition and construction work as required as part of your work.
The role will cover work in the following locations:-Halifax, Leeds, Wakefield, Bradford, Doncaster, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire therefore it is essential that you have a full UK driving licence.
To be considered for the role of Electrician, you will have 5 years site experience and City & Guilds Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Electrical Installation qualification and two years practical experience, plus City & Guilds Level 3 award in the Requirements of Electrical Installations BS76761:2018. You will have general building industry knowledge, ability to understand drawings, pc literacy, effective communication skills, working to targets and deadlines, excellent attention to detail.
In return our client will offer a basic salary of £33,280 plus paid travel one way (which adds roughly a further 10% to salary), 28 days paid holiday including statutory holidays, pension scheme, annual performance reviews.
