About the role:
The roles and responsibilities of the Site supervisor include, but are not restricted to, the following:
* Ensuring that the Health and Safety Management System (H&SMS) within the Business Management System (BMS) is implemented and controlled on site.
* Have knowledge of RAMS to support completion of updates and adherence.
* Compiling the quality plan, ensuring it is implemented and fit for purpose for the project.
* Ensuring the daily checks and handover sheets are in place.
* Planning and resourcing projects within the tender allowance.
* Using the 4 weekly updates to control the progress/ programme, maintaining the required resources to complete the project within the timescales allowed.
* Producing a weekly progress report to be issued to the Contracts or Operations Manager.
* Being aware of the commercial position of the project and working with the Surveyor and site team to ensure the project is a commercial success.
* Ensuring (when accompanied by Site Supervisor(s) on a project) that Site Supervisors are working in accordance with the BMS and company procedures.
* Ensuring Secondary Subcontract workers and any subcontractors have been fully inducted into the safe systems of work and have completed the relevant forms/ contracts.
* Monitoring the work of secondary subcontract workers and subcontractors to ensure that works

* Motivating and setting clear targets and goals for all employees under your responsibility to ensure all team members understand their roles and objectives. Coaching and supporting Site Supervisors in target setting.
Requirements
* Commutable within 1 hour of site (Advert to specific region)
* Have Curtain walling or Rainscreen façade supervision experience
* Managed subcontract façade packages up to £5M
* Competent management of subcontract labour
* Proficient in Field view system or similar
* Must provide examples of the above as part of interview process.
* SMSTS or SSSTS trained
* First aid trained (preferred)
* Contributing to and assisting in the implementation of the BMS.
* Carrying out the role safely, accurately and efficiently.
* Carrying out any reasonable request from your line manager
