Job summary
Sue Ross Recruitment are currently looking to recruit for a Payroll / Accounts Assistant on a temporary basis for our clients based in North East Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has ran the whole payroll process from start to finish to join a great team and really make a positive impact while covering an absence.Established over 30 years ago, our clients have established a fantastic client base across South Yorkshire and are now looking for the successful individual to join their friendly, family ran business.
Please note, to be successful in this role, experience within Sage 50 and Sage Payroll is highly desirable.
Daily requirements will be as followed:
* Reconciliation of bank accounts and cash books
* Processing the weekly payroll, ensuring all procedures and controls are complied with such as sending out payslips, P60, maintaining pensions.
* Sending receipts to sales ledgers.
* Producing monthly statements
* Handling cash, working with online banking and payments through Purchase Ledger and Credit Cards.
* Making VAT returns and payments
* Using Sage to keep on top of sales and purchase ledger accounts.
* Providing and Processing weekly reports to management.
