We need a user-driven Senior Product Manager to join our Retirement Services team.
We are responsible for running and transforming digital services that enable millions of
people over state pension age to plan for retirement and secure all the support they need to live without unnecessary hardship.
We're looking for a Product Manager who can make evidenced-based strategic and tactical product decisions.
You'll be actively involved in developing the product strategy and owning the product roadmap.
You will be responsible for:
Communicating product success to stakeholders
Owning the product roadmap
Explaining controversial choices about your product
Coaching less experienced product managers
Making evidence-based strategic and tactical product choices
Developing the product strategy
Working in a Data driven and Agile environment
What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
You have experience of working with complex, high-risk projects and programmes.
Experience of working with a range of specialists in multidisciplinary teams, applying an agile methodology and mindset in a complex environment to enable incremental delivery.
You have experience of navigating constraints and ambiguity successfully (including but not limited to technology, policy, regulatory, financial and legal constraints).
Ability to put users first as part of a commitment to user-centred design and know how to achieve this amongst competing priorities including achieving value for the business.
Have worked across boundaries to effectively communicate the product vision and gain stakeholder buy in.
You have experience of mentoring and coaching product people and teams in order to deliver high quality products and services.

In return for your skills, we offer competitive pay of £69,869 to £77,740.
You'll be eligible for a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions of 27.9% - 30.3%. That could be worth as much £23,555 a year in your pension pot.
You'll get a generous leave package starting at 26 days, rising to 31 days over time, plus all the usual bank holidays, and the option to take extra days off on flexi leave.
