Job summary
Role: SEN TeacherLocation: Middleton
Pay: £30,000 to £46,525 Pro Rata
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday - 8:20am to 4:00pm
Start: January - Easter fixed term contract
Simply Education is working with a School in Middleton with a great environment for learning. We are looking for a SEN Teacher for a Year 3/4 class. In this role, every day will be different and being able to adapt is an important skill that is required.
Pupils in the school have diagnosed SEND and SEMH. As a SEN Teacher, you must be able to build rapport with both pupils and school team members. You must be calm and nurturing with the ability to build great relationships with pupils. Each day will be different from the last therefore being adaptable is very important.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Extensive knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Quick thinking with the ability to adapt with ease to new environments
- An understanding of working with students with SEND
- Strong communication skills with pupils and an understanding of pupils behaviour patterns when experiencing complex needs and trauma

All successful applicants will be required to attend an interview in the Manchester City Centre office undergo relevant safeguarding checks, including a full application form. All candidates who register with Simply Education will also have 2 years referencing taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check completed.
