Your role As a Mechanical Engineering placement student, you'll be working in diverse teams across all of our markets.
You could work on a variety of projects, including airports, railway stations, nuclear power stations or offshore wind farms.
From design to analysis, manufacturing and maintenance challenges, your contribution will make a difference.
You'll be able to point to your projects and say, "I helped make that happen." Where you could work As a placement student, you could find yourself in one of the following business areas: Aerospace, Defence, Security & Technology (ADS&T) Industrial year locations: Bristol, Glasgow Degree requirements: On track for a minimum of a 2.1 Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Marine/Naval or Integrated Mechanical & Electrical Engineering ADS&T work across safety critical industries to exploit cutting-edge advanced technology across aerospace and defence markets, helping clients respond innovatively to evolving external environments.
ADS&T work with leading names to transform the future of aerospace engineering and support our national defence programmes across all domains: land, sea, air, maritime and cyber.

As one of our Mechanical Engineering placement students, you could be involved with a range of projects, from fixed and floating offshore structures, to terminals, refineries, petrochemical plants and subsea pipelines.
