Job summary
Chase Taylor recruitment are currently working with a successful family run window and door manufacturer based in Devon. They are looking to recruit an experienced Window and Door Sales Consultant to sell and promote their products from their outstanding showroom to the local commercial and residential sector of the fenestration industry.Our client not only manufactures both aluminium and upvc windows, but they also offer and supply and installation package to make the process easier for their customers and clients.
The right candidate will have current or a minimum of 2 years experience as a sales professional within the window and door industry. As this role is showroom based, you will be required to work one Saturday a month, 8:30am to 1:30pm.
The role:
* Providing customers with excellent customer service, from their first point of contact be that by appointment, walk-in or telephone.
* Presenting customers with the full product portfolio within the showroom from previously arranged appointments or walk-ins.
* Understanding the customers needs and advising on suitable products dependant on their requirements, budgets and project location.
* Providing customers with accurate and timely quotes and variation of contracts to meet the agreed specifications.
* Ensuring that the sales targets agreed with the Sales Manager are achieved.
* Providing other departments within the company with accurate and timely information on the agreed contract or variation of contract.
* Training will be provided where necessary
* Make sure internal database is kept up to date
The candidate:
* Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as sales professional within the window and door industry
* Good working knowledge of Autocad and be computer literate
* Be able to manage own workload and hit targets
* Good knowledge of current building regulations
* Excellent customer service/people skills
* Must currently reside in the UK
