Position Overview: We are looking for dedicated Learning Support Assistants/Intervention Specialists who have a strong background in working with students with SEMH needs. As an integral part of our team, you will play a crucial role in assisting these students in their educational journey, fostering a safe and nurturing atmosphere, and implementing effective interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs.
Implement and monitor individualized support plans to address specific challenges.
Assist students in managing their emotions and behavior, promoting a positive learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to develop and execute effective interventions.
Support the academic and emotional development of students through a range of activities and strategies.Requirements:
At least 1 years of experience working with students with SEMH needs.
Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with students.
An empathetic and patient approach to supporting students facing emotional and behavioral challenges.
