An international based organisation in Buntingford are currently looking for a Scheduler to join their events project team. You must an energetic, hardworking, and motivated individual who has hands on experience of working in a Scheduler / Logistics-Planning / Project Admin / Admin type of role.
The organisation you will be working for has been a disrupter within its marketplace and has fundamentally change to face of events within its sector. This has seen them grow very quickly to a point where they are now operating in 30 countries around the world.
Within this role you will be supporting the Account Managers with the smooth delivery of outstanding events for the business's clients. The events are generally small 1-day events, but the number of events over the year the business run are high. Therefore, experience of working within a fast-paced environment where you are managing the scheduling / logistics-planning elements of a lot of projects at one time is essential.
You will ensure Photographers itineraries are scheduled accurately and with fine detail, including booking flights, transfers, equipment pick-ups, meetings, catering, and more! You will also need to be a client focused individual, enthusiastic, somebody who loves a challenge and thrives on working in a busy environment. Your communication will be Exemplary to both your colleagues and clients.
As the Scheduler you will be responsible for:
The allocation/scheduling of specific photographers to jobs.
Making appropriate travel arrangements where necessary; primarily for UK based photographers when they work overseas (flights, channel crossings, hotels, VISAs etc).
Managing photography kit logistics; primarily ensuring the right kit is available for each job including suppling repaired/replacement kit when necessary.
Ensuring photographer DBS checks are kept up to date.
The ideal Scheduler candidate will need:
Excellent Scheduler / logistics-planning / project coordination / admin experience.
Strong communication skills with a track record of building strong working relationships with key clients and business stakeholder.
Ability to think smart and use initiative so as to best plan the Photographers and utilise them to the best of their ability.
A friendly and engaging persona.
Strong written communications skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Highly organised with the ability to multitask.
Pro-active, creative, and innovative in their approach to work.
Positive, can-do attitude.
Working Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 5:30, you can expect to receive a salary between
£24,000 and £28,000 depending upon experience. This role also offers a competitive benefits package
which includes, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays and working in a lovely rural location. The team are a social bunch, having barbecues, parties and socials regularly together throughout the year.
You will need to car and a full driving licence as there are no public transport links to this office.
